Anne-Marie Duff is an English actor and Narrator. After graduating in Drama Centre London Duff made TV appearances on Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats in the mid 1990s. She rose to prominence playing Fiona Gallagher on the first two seasons of UK TV series Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) featured her as Queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also played the main part in From Darkness (2015). Duff is known for her role in Enigma (2002) The Magdalene Sisters French Film (2008) The Last Station Nowhere Boy BeforeI Go to sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette. She also appeared in the films The Virgin Queen Shameless Nowhere Boy Suffragette Shameless And The Virgin Queen earned her BAFTA nominations for the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actresses. The History of Mr Polly was the film in which she received the BAFTA Cymru Award as Best Actress.
