Then, in 1999, she changed her name to Theresa Sandoval in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. Her film debut came by playing a minor role in Girl 6 (1996) then appeared in the episodes New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was first seen in a film in the film Girl 6 (1996), then starred in episodes of New York Undercover as well as The District. Navedo played a role in the NBC crime-drama Law & Order for a regular role as the detective Ana Cordova between 2001 and 2004. The character was later featured as a character in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods, and Blue Bloods. Navedo has also appeared in movies like El Cantante, Remember Me as well as a variety of other films. Navedo was a regular character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, How to Make It in America Golden Boy and How to Make It in America Golden Boy between 2011 to 2013. Superfast!
